I take more notes on books than almost anything else. But keeping track of the metadata (information) related to the book can be tedious to add to Obsidian.

Enter the Book Search Plugin. This free plugin enables you automatically search for books and fill out a new note with all of the relevant information on the book.

However, this plugin is only as good as the Book Template you use for it. To help speed up & simplify your book note-taking, I created this Book Template.

Now, you can search for the book you are reading effortlessly and instantly populate a template with tables that automatically populate with related notes to that book.
