Modern knowledge work in the corporate & creator economies has changed how we must deal with projects. We can no longer focus on one project at a time and see it to completion, we must instead manage many projects at once, progressing each forward task by task. The more projects we have, the more difficult it becomes to track tasks, timelines, and progress.

Welcome to my Obsidian Project Management Bases Kit 🚀✨

To help manage this web of projects, I have developed a new Agile Project Management system inside of Obsidian, leveraging the new Obsidian Bases Core Plugin.

The core files in this bundle are:

1. Project Management.base (the project management database with all views, filters, and properties preset)
2. Project Management Visual Workflows (flowcharts illustrating the flow of the project management system, along with practical examples).
3. Agile Project Management Core Templates (Projects, Epics, Stories, Tasks, Ideas, & Bugs).

I’ve designed the system to be modular, so you can pick and choose the style you resonate with most, knowing that the pieces are all interconnected automatically through the incredible Bases Plugin. The goal of this system is for you to have a starting point to build out your own project systems. You do not need to use all aspects of the system for it to be effective (e.g., maybe you only want Projects, Epics, and Tasks, but don’t need Stories). The design is completely up to you!

Note: Bases has been released to everyone 🎉 Make sure your Obsidian is updated to at least version 1.9.10 to get the Bases Core Plugin.

BONUS: I have included my instructions for how to augment your project management system with AI tools. AI can help you build new bases, new views, new functions AND operate as an actual project manager to dynamically assist with your projects & their execution. I use AI to help me with my projects all the time, and my productivity has gone through the roof as a result.
