Reflections On Sustainable Creation Systems
Itβs been a hectic few weeks (months?) After returning from Portugal & Spain, I was off to NYC for a week, before returning home to shoot the eclipse (the most complicated photography experience Iβve ever had).
Now, Iβm off to Mexico for a wedding π
It will be nice to relax for a few days, read on the beach, catch up with friends.
Rather than trying to put out a full newsletter this weekend, Iβve been taking time to reflect on my creation system.
In particular, Iβve been reflecting on what it means to build a sustainable creation system. This idea is one Iβve been working on since Entry #7: Building A Sustainable Creation System.
In line with this ethos (philosophy), Iβm going to continue taking this week to rest and recalibrate as I build out my creation plan π
If youβd like to learn more about this plan ahead of everyone else, Iβve been writing and sharing information in my /cal channel and group chat for Hypersub members.
For now, I shared a bit more of my editing experience of the Solar Eclipse.
Recap From Last Week
Last week, I journaled about my experience witnessing and photographing the total solar eclipse.
Since then, Iβve animated another piece based on the raw images of totality, and partnered with a friend (@petercloudmusic) who produced music to go along with the animation (including actual sound of the sun and a breath of his own π).
If you havenβt already, I recommend reading Entry #43: Reflections Of A Solar Eclipse and then watching the breathing guide animations in full resolution on Zora β¨
I would love to hear if you find them relaxing π«‘
Eclipse Breathing Guide Animations
Each of the animations is timed to be a breathing guide π
6s inhale
6s exhale
5 breaths per minute
Repeat until relaxed π
I recommend trying at least 10 breaths in a row, you may be surprised as how large of an impact 2 minutes of intentional breathing has on the rest of your day π
2024 Total Solar Eclipse
This animation is available to collect on Zora as a free mint.
Prominenced Totality βοΈ π π
I partnered with Peter Cloud Music to produce the sound/music for this animation. The track includes actual sound from the sun, and a breath of Peterβs π

This animation is available to collect on Zora as a free mint. For context, Zora has a protocol fee (transaction fee) that charges ~$2 for each collection, of which I receive the majority.
Any collections of these animations directly supports me as a creator β¨
Next Week
Next week, I plan to have a full newsletter again, after taking a few weeks to focus on travel and the eclipse.
Iβve been thinking a lot about what it means to sustainably create in the modern world, while taking into account monetization and future-proofing against AI.
If you have any thoughts on these topics, please feel free to comment below, and Iβll try to address them in the next entry β¨
Have a great week π
